Formed in 2024 by two musicians from the University of Montreal\, the duo offers a colorful blend of original arrangements and a wide-ranging repertoire that spans jazz\, blues\, Latin\, bossa nova\, and more. Their performances are unique experiences that transport us back to the 1940s through the 1960s\, drawing inspiration from Sarah Vaughan\, Anita O’Day\, Carmen McRae\, Charlie Parker\, and Ella Fitzgerald. Since its inception\, the duo has consisted of jazz vocalist Marie-Soleil Lambert and pianist Jean-Félix Lagahe. The Blue Sun Duo is undoubtedly an explosive source of creativity and interaction\, transporting listeners into a melodious and warm atmosphere.
