Bogdan Gumenyuk: musician, producer, composer, educator, and founder of the Ukrainian music label, LabelWhoAble.
Bogdan was the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship, and received his master’s degree in Jazz Music Performance at The University of the Arts (Philadelphia), in 2013.
He has won several international music competitions and shared the stage with such Ukrainian artists and groups as Jamala, Okean Elzy, and Mad Heads. He has also performed with notable jazz musicians from Western Europe and North America, including Curtis Fuller, Benito Gonzalez, Café, Joel Holmes, Pierre Boussaguet, Sam Harris, Ameen Saleem, Xavier Davis, Kevin Mahogany, among others.
Currently, Bogdan resides in Montreal and is active on the music scene as lead instrumentalist and sideman, and as a producer.
