Blaney Jazz Project

The Blaney Jazz Project is a Sherbrooke-based gypsy jazz quartet driven by a passion for the masters of the genre, while drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists. Driven by a desire to explore and renew the tradition, the ensemble is dedicated to the creation and performance of original compositions. Their first album, currently in the works, will bear witness to this artistic approach. Bringing together guitarists William Blaney and Philippe Belley, clarinettist Gisèle Blanchard-Girardin and double bassist Jean-Philippe Gagnon, the group offers a sound both rooted in authenticity and resolutely turned towards the present.
