Blue Sun Duo

Bewitching, gentle, vibrant and passionate, that’s what the Blue Sun Duo is all about. Created in 2024 by two musicians from the Université de Montréal, the duo offers a colorful amalgam of arranged pieces and a vast repertoire spanning jazz, blues, Latin, bossa and more. Their performances are unique experiences that take us back to the 40s and 60s, sailing under the influences of Sarah Vaughan, Anita O’day, Carmen Mcrae, Charlie Parker and Ella Fitzgerald. Since its creation, the duo has been made up of jazz vocalist Marie-Soleil Lambert and Jean-Félix Lagahe on piano. The Blue Sun Duo is an explosive source of creativity and interaction, transporting listeners into a warm, melodious atmosphere.
