Worshop: The art of singing a Jazz Ballad

This masterclass will take a look at how jazz singers perform ballads. Participants will have the opportunity to sing during the masterclass. If you wish to do so, please prepare one of the following songs:

An experienced jazz singer, Madeleine Thériault has performed with some of Canada’s top jazz musicians. For almost thirty years, she taught jazz repertoire, interpretation, and voice technique at Concordia University. She was the founder and director of the McGill Jazz Vocal Ensemble at McGill University.
