YEAR ROUND JAZZ – SUTTON BROUËRIE
Le village qui voyage
Le village qui voyage is a group of mostly nomadic musicians with classical, jazz and traditional music backgrounds. Through their travels and encounters, their musical repertoire has grown steadily, from klezmer to forró and Brazilian choro, via traditional music from the Balkans and Quebec, not forgetting jazz, classical music and, of course, original compositions. Having performed in Mexico, France and Brazil, the group presents a repertoire that is at times festive, at times solemn, showcasing the virtuosity and sensitivity of these hard-nosed improvisers, who will have audiences dancing on Quebec stages in the summer of 2024. The group will perform as a trio in Sutton, with Pascal Demalsy on accordion, Vincent Delorme on viola and Tobias Soley on clarinet and seven-string guitar.
