Solstice Project

Jazz-Quartet1

André Lafleur: Double bass / Tevet Sela: Saxophone
Claude Prud’homme: Guitar / Louis-Vincent Hamel: Drums

PROJET SOLSTICE is a collaboration between four musicians inspired by 1970s European jazz (ECM), including Ralph Towner's wonderful album Solstice. The project consists mainly of original music composed by each of the musicians. It is an open style of jazz that leaves plenty of room for improvisation and musical conversation between the musicians. The group has completed recording its first CD.
